Simantel is seeking an experienced, organized and solutions-oriented Producer to join our Simantel Motion Studio team. As the Nation's Leader in Industrial Marketing, we combine deep industry expertise with innovative thinking to create meaningful experiences for some of the world's leading industrial brands.

In this role, you'll bring creative concepts to life by leading the planning and execution of video productions from approved scope through final delivery. You'll collaborate with talented creative professionals, coordinate production teams and logistics, and ensure projects are delivered with the right balance of quality, timing and budget.

About Us

All the work Simantel does supports our comprehensive approach to Customer Experience (CX). We've built our business on crafting positive, engaging customer experiences at every point in the industrial consumer journey. To start, we go back to the beginning: the individual. Located in downtown Peoria, Illinois, with Simantelites across 20+ states, we staff expert researchers, strategists, analysts, designers, writers, developers, videographers and more. Whether it's a stand-alone strategy, an activation project, or a mix of both, we keep projects running on time and on budget with our agile project management skills. From beginning to end and every place in between, we've got it covered.

As a Producer, my objective is:

To lead the successful planning and execution of Motion Studio productions from approved scope through delivery by turning creative concepts into practical production plans, coordinating people and logistics, and proactively managing schedule, scope, budget and risk. I serve as the primary production owner for internally led projects, working in the office and in the field as project needs dictate.

The outcomes I need to produce for clients are:

  • Develop practical production plans that support the creative idea while balancing quality, budget, timing and available resources.
  • Translate approved creative concepts into clear schedules, crew plans, logistics and production expectations.
  • Provide proactive communication so clients and internal teams understand production plans, responsibilities, timing and changes.
  • Lead organized productions that stay aligned to approved scope and budget while protecting the quality of the work.
  • Serve as a trusted producer who anticipates needs, solves problems and keeps projects moving from pre-production through delivery.

To produce these outcomes, I need to:

  • Lead internally produced Simantel Motion Studio projects from kickoff through delivery, coordinating the people, information and decisions required to keep work moving.
  • Build and maintain production schedules, internal calendars, crew plans, roles and responsibilities, and other pre-production documentation.
  • Partner with Studio Operations and Estimating to provide scope, crew, vendor, schedule and logistics inputs for estimates, then monitor actuals against the approved plan.
  • Serve as field producer when the size, complexity or client needs of a production require it, managing crew logistics, schedule, client communication and day-of issues while maintaining normal producer oversight of scope and budget.
  • Coordinate production logistics including travel, lodging, ground transportation, call sheets, releases, permits, meals, vendors, purchase orders and other project-specific needs; ensure a clear handoff into post-production.
  • Mentor and support assigned production staff, identify risks early and recommend practical improvements to Simantel Motion Studio production workflows and project execution.

The skills and abilities I require are:

  • 5+ years of professional production, agency production or related project leadership experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial video production, including crew structures, pre-production, field production, post-production and vendor management.
  • Sound production judgment and the ability to understand how creative ambition affects scope, staffing, schedule and budget.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead production discussions, communicate tradeoffs clearly and earn the trust of clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented thinking with the ability to anticipate production needs and resolve issues before they affect delivery.

**Production schedules may require travel and on-location work depending on project requirements.

**This salary is based on experience and qualifications, in alignment with the level of responsibility assigned.
